MAME (an acronym of Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator) is an emulator application designed to recreate the hardware of arcade game systems in software on modern personal computers and other platforms. The intention is to preserve gaming history by preventing vintage games from being lost or forgotten. The aim of MAME is to be a reference to the inner workings of the emulated arcade machines; the ability to actually play the games is considered "a nice side effect".

Currently MAME emulates over 10,000 games that have been released since the 70's such as Pong, Space Invaders, Donkey Kong, Pacman, Street Fighter and thousands more. All authentic in their retro graphics and synthesized sound effects. Authentic in every way, except you don't need to insert 20 cents each time you want to play. Simply install it on to your computer or run it directly from a portable hard drive and play.

If you want to download MAME and ALL its add-ons yourself, you'll need to find all the modules that are scattered over the internet and at nearly 700GB worth of data, that will take a considerable time and at a cost. Once you download them, then you have sort and merge them into a working set which will also take a considerable amount of time and knowhow to "clean" it all up. Fortunately, we've done all the hard work for you!

Our preloaded 1TB USB hard drive contains everything you need to get going. Just plug it in to any Windows 64 Bit PC, load and play!
